My mom is a lung cancer survivor with COPD, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic anxiety, bipolar depression, Irritable bowel syndrome, a weak bladder, high cholesterol, and significant weight loss from her illnesses. We are interested it getting a Medical Marijuana recommendation for her but don’t know who to call, where to go, how much is a good price, and if she qualifies. Also, I am her medical power of attorney so I would be the one picking it up for her if she got a rec. She is not able to leave the house much as she is on oxygen. I’ve only tried weed once and at the time I wasn’t feeling any symptoms of my various ailments, so I can’t tell you whether they will work for me, but I suffer from depression, skin sensitivity, migraine headaches, tension/ stress headaches, acid reflux, asthma, chronic back & knee pain, morbid obesity (215 lbs, 5 ft 3), insomnia (when I DO get to sleep, I can’t stay asleep most of the time and on the off chance that I do: I have night terrors), panic attack, and anxiety. Do I qualify? Oh, am 27 and she is 55. We live in West Sacramento and don’t have a car to go places so we need a place really close.
